mindless scrolling
no type in mind
just not THESE types
left, left, left, left
accidental right, left
then a pause
your blood starts to flow again
suddenly energized by new thoughts
a profile,
a tiny glimpse into their world
you begin to imagine how well you’ll fit
it all makes sense
the hours of scrolling suddenly worth it
serendipitous
you swipe right
and then…nothing
they swiped left
mindlessly scrolling
no type in mind
