A Phoenix Lost

I’ve died many times.

Sometimes it was necessary,

Other times, less so.

And most times, I was reborn.

Learning from my passing

And evolving into someone greater.

But you were unique.

There was no renaissance,

No comeback kid.

Just a pile of ash,

A phoenix lost to the in between

Of who I was, and who I am.
